Who is the Man United player of the season so far?

After the summer spending spree with the sudden injection of youth, United look totally refreshed and rejuvenated. Ashley Young arrived from Villa which many thought a surprising move - but what a move it is so far by Sir Alex; Phil Jones signed from Blackburn and already looks like a young Nemanja Vidic; David De Gea has had a few shaky moments but has done enough to show his class.



Now consider existing Manchester United players: the ascent of Danny Welbeck (sadly injured in the last game) who was keeping Chicarito out of the team; the emergence of the visionary Tom Cleverley and the incredible rise to FULL INTERNATIONAL RIGHT BACK of Chris Smalling. The team is flying and still carrying some big injuries (Rio, Nemanja, Rafael, etc) yet the team is playing some of their most fluent and eye-catching football.
